In countries like India and Nepal, there spring festival celebrated by Hindus is called Holi. This also known as color festival.
The festival begins with the ritual of burning a demon called holika ins middles of large open fire. This is known as "Kama Dahanam" in Andhra Pradesh.
Holi is celebrated for two days in late February or march of the year.
Holi is a very fun Festival. Everyone gest together and does the colorings. color powder is used for this and people wear white color dresses.
At the end of the washout everyone goes down to the bog pool and has fun.😁
